Muireann Walshe is a contemporary jewellery designer maker. Since graduating from NCAD in 2011 Muireann has established herself on the contemporary craft scene; winning the Future Makers Student Award from the Crafts Council of Ireland in 2011, and the New Designers London One Year On Award in 2012. One of  Muireann's most identifiable design's (her interpretation of the Tara Brooch) was also purchased by The National Museum of Ireland, and her pieces have gone on to be featured in exclusive fashion magazines such as Social and Personal, Tatler and Vogue to name a few.

Muireann is continually exploring her craft and expanding her field of research, currently undertaking an MA in The History of Design and Material Culture in the National College of Art and Design Dublin. Muireann has been invoved in The Chocolate Factory since February 2013.
