Conor Gallagher
Conor Gallagher is a graphic designer and fine artist, and is currently working on a series of paintings about the River Nore. He has previoulsy been awarded a studio in the Model Arts Centre, Sligo and the Red Stables, Raheny and in 2013, he was awarded a fellowship at Ballinglen Arts Foundation in County Mayo. He has been based at the Chocolate Factory since August 2013.
“My work is about capturing light and changing places and I am drawn to the lesser known or forgotten. I like to investigate the nature of a landscape and this can involve a material exploration and experimentation with the painting surface.”
